Our firm represented a defendant, who had been convicted to 3 years imprisonment for committing grievous malicious wounds and resisted arrest from Athens Criminal Court of First Instance and appealed against the Judgment.
The Criminal Court of Appeal of Athens accepted the defensive allegations which were presented by our firm and mitigated the 3 year imprisonment to 7 months. The Court of Appeal ruled that the imprisonment sentence should be commuted to money penalty.
