Representation of a Juvenile defendant charged for robberies, grievous bodily harm and illegal carrying of weapon

Our firm represented a defendant before the Athens Court of Juveniles, who had been charged for committing 7 robberies, grievous bodily harm and illegal carrying of weapon.

The Court accepted the defensive allegations which were presented by our firm and discharged the defendant for the acts of grievous bodily harm, illegal carrying of weapon and 3 out of 7 robberies.

The Court also converted the other 4 robberies to thefts since the basic element of force against the victims had not been proved, and imposed to the defendant the reformative measure of attending classes before the “Second Chance School”, instead of detention in the Reformatory Institution of Juveniles.
